what does assumation do?

Assumation.
The act of assuming; believing and speaking on what is not yet knowledge to yourself.

So you may say that assumation is not a word. Judging by the fact that the squigley red line appears below it verifies what you say is right...I guess. But to me assumation is a word in my vocabulary, not because I like making up words to fit a rhyme like Dr.Suess but because I've come to yell out the good news. Assumation is the preacher at your local street corner yelling "Sinner!" out of Romans 1:29-32 and not bothering to read the very next verse, he just assumes it'll say, "You're going to hell."
Or like reading the Old Testament without the New....how can it be old unless something has replaced it.
And how can you know the importance of the New if you don't know how different it is from the Old?
Assumation is believing I won't love you because I call myself a Christian and so does your drunk and iced out ex-friend who decided to hate you after they "repented".
Assumation is allowing those doubting quotation marks to surround the word repented.

Who am I? To decide that I know enough to take the next step. Next breath. To blink one more time.
Trust that that next step, breath, blink won't lead me to my destruction, but in whom do I place that trust?
In myself? I don't know.
Whether that next stair is waterlogged and can't hold one more pound over 114.
Whether that mist in the air is really freshening the air or destroying the delicate twin organs in my one and only body called my lungs.
Whether that split second that I close my eyes would've been the split second I would have needed to react, and save my life if they were open.

I just assume that I'll live. That every one on this planet is doing his or her best job of living and putting each foot in front of the last towards living even longer. Whether your sight is near or far, committed to this world or the eternal.

-Tangent-
So why waste your assumation on believing that I would write disrespectfully to you. Or that I'd open-eyed prove myself to be a contradiction in the largest of ways. Or that I'd allow others to vandalize my property.
-End Tangent-

Why do we waste assumation, a verb that we use every moment to keep us walking foot in front of the last, on something as unwise and immature as to judge one another.

Tell me the justification.

I came to your blog by accident. I was talking to myself after a mistake on some work and using the word "assumation". I then quickly googled because as right as it sounds I think I realized it wasn't a word.

Anyways I read your rant about assumation and saw Rachael at the end and was like ah sweet who is this girl. I love to smile and this made me smile.

I just read "thebus" and realized you may be a bit younger but you are bright and funny. I don't want to categorize you but I swear and I know it truly is hard to understand and you won't but being 24 now there is a reason kids are treated differently. I didn't think I was any different from the people older then me. I thought I was equal just not with as many legal rights.

I'm sure you have heard this a million times but here it comes again. You'll understand when you get older :) I hated hearing that but your perception of life and how you see the world will change so much over the next few years.

I promise you no matter what you think.. NO MATTER.. 6 years from now you will look back and realize how dumb you were regardless of how intelligent you are. It's one of those things you will look back and realize experience does play a huge role in decision and even a dumb person can still be wise.

If this gets to you I just want you to know how great you are but in the sincerest way possible how unexperienced and dumb you are not matter how intelligent.. lol I am sorry for coming off this way, you sound awesome and I don't want to put you down because I'm not but as cliche as it is, when you are older you'll understand.

Don't hate me :( goodluck rachael.
Pretty name.

This rant rocked. Not sure what "Mike" is talking about; I didn't read "thebus". But I like your writing style. ;) Thanks for sharing.
